Research Analyst (Remote, Part‑Time/Contract)

About the role

The Research Analyst will support Working Groups by turning discussions into structured, evidence‑based knowledge. Working remotely, you will conduct literature reviews, document meetings, and help synthesize policy drafts for the Chair and participants.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive literature surveys on assigned Working Group topics and prepare concise briefing notes.
• Attend online Working Group meetings and produce clear, objective minutes that capture arguments, decisions, and action items.
• Create periodic summaries of forum discussions, highlighting consensus, contention, and idea evolution.
• Assist the Chair and participants in compiling notes, formatting policy drafts, and preparing final reports or presentation materials.
• Perform fact‑checking, citation management, and bibliography preparation as needed.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Master’s program in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Economics, or a related social‑science field.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and summarizing abilities.
• Excellent written communication with the capacity to distill complex information.
• Impartiality and ability to capture diverse viewpoints accurately.
• Familiarity with academic databases and citation styles.

Required skills

• High proficiency in MS Office.
• High proficiency in Google Workspace.
