Resident Engineer – Fortinet (MSSP)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer specialized in Fortinet solutions to join our team in Islamabad. You will work within a Managed Security Service Provider environment, delivering high‑quality network security services to our clients and supporting the growth of our security practice.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage Fortinet‑based security architectures, including firewalls, IPS and VPNs.
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain firewall systems, intrusion prevention systems and secure VPN connections.
• Analyze logs and network traffic to detect threats and apply mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with clients to capture security requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation such as configuration files, network diagrams and troubleshooting guides.
• Stay current with Fortinet product updates through continuous training and certification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in network security, primarily with Fortinet technologies.
• Fortinet NSE 4, NSE 5 and NSE 6 certifications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
