Restaurant Supervisor

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor will lead the daily operations of our restaurant in Rawalpindi, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This full‑time, on‑site position involves managing front‑of‑house staff, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, and upholding the high service standards of Islamabad Serena Hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule front‑of‑house staff, assign duties and monitor performance.
• Ensure timely, accurate and consistent food and beverage service.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels and assist with ordering.
• Support staff training, development and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with management on sales targets, reporting and special events.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant or upscale hotel environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Familiarity with standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
