Retail Operations Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Operations Manager to lead and optimise day‑to‑day store activities for a global retail leader. This fully remote, contract position focuses on driving efficiency, compliance and customer satisfaction across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Streamline store workflows, including inventory control, staffing schedules and customer service processes.
• Track and report key performance indicators such as sales, foot traffic and inventory turnover.
• Develop, update and enforce operational policies and procedures to improve performance and ensure compliance.
• Partner with regional managers to align store operations with broader business strategies.
• Train and mentor store teams on best practices and company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail operations management or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and operational metrics.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management and supply‑chain coordination is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with retail management software.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
