RMA Technical Support Engineer

About the role

The RMA Technical Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing customer‑returned equipment, ensuring swift resolution of after‑sales issues and continuous improvement of product quality. The role combines on‑site service, technical training, and project coordination to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair faulty machines returned by customers.
• Create and update maintenance manuals and case studies to improve service efficiency.
• Analyze maintenance data to drive product quality enhancements.
• Coordinate resources to resolve after‑sales complaints and optimise internal processes.
• Provide training and guidance on equipment repair and maintenance.
• Develop, track, and adjust overall project delivery plans.
• Lead on‑site project implementation, technical support, and acceptance activities.
• Collect and address on‑site product and technical issues, working with the technical team to resolve customer problems quickly.
• Deliver customer training on product parameters, performance, and operation.
• Manage project documentation, conduct summaries, and share lessons learned.
• Identify project risks and coordinate internal and external resources for efficient collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical & Electrical, Computer, Electronics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with electronic and electrical concepts and common measurement instruments.
• Understanding of basic circuit principles and ability to read circuit schematics.
• Proficiency with standard office software.
• Prior experience in maintenance or craftsmanship is a plus.
