Robotics Trainer (Internship)

About the role

GleeGather (Pvt) Ltd is a STEM-focused EdTech initiative that partners with schools and families to deliver activity-based, experiential STEM programs. As a Robotics Trainer intern, you will deliver hands-on robotics sessions to students in an on-site setting in the Karachi Division, guiding them through building, programming and testing robotic systems. The position requires consistent on-campus presence and active engagement with learners in classroom and lab environments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials and demonstration projects aligned with the activity-based STEM curriculum.
• Set up and maintain robotics equipment, supervise student projects and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of tools and systems.
• Collaborate with academic coordinators and school staff to track student progress, give feedback and improve program delivery.

Required profile

• Strong interest in STEM education and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to school-age learners.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with educators and students.
• Ability to work on-site in the Karachi Division, manage multiple student groups and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Preferred: coursework or practical experience in robotics, mechatronics, engineering or a related technical field.
• Preferred: prior experience in teaching, mentoring or running workshops, especially in STEM or robotics.

Required skills

• Robotics and robot systems, including basic programming, configuration and classroom demonstration.
• Robotic welding and related applications of robots in manufacturing or technical projects.
• Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of robotics equipment and classroom hardware.
