Grade 3 Homeroom Teacher

About the role

Pak Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges is looking for a Grade 3 Homeroom Teacher in Islamabad. The successful candidate will bring 2 to 3 years of primary teaching experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field. The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons, managing a positive classroom climate and keeping open lines of communication with parents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and school educational standards.
• Manage daily classroom activities and implement classroom management techniques to keep order and promote engagement.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations and tailor instruction to identified learning needs.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with parents and guardians about academic performance, behaviour and social development.
• Apply restorative practices and conflict resolution strategies to address behavioural issues and build a respectful classroom community.
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff on instructional strategies, resource sharing and professional development.
• Integrate family engagement initiatives and support students' social-emotional development alongside academic growth.
• Uphold school policies, safety procedures and professional standards.

Required profile

• 2 to 3 years of primary teaching experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a dynamic classroom with confidence and care.
• Deep understanding of curriculum standards and student learning needs, including assessment and feedback mechanisms.
