Sales Associate – Business Development (Cold Calling)

About the role

We are seeking a confident, driven Sales Associate to generate new business through outbound cold calling. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, initiating conversations, qualifying leads, and booking meetings or closing deals to expand our client base.

Key responsibilities

• Make 80‑120 outbound cold calls daily to prospects from lead lists and research.
• Introduce ICM America’s services, uncover prospect needs, and explain how we can help.
• Qualify leads by budget, authority, need, and timeline, then book appointments or close deals directly.
• Handle objections professionally and keep conversations moving toward the next step.
• Follow up via phone, email, and LinkedIn to build the pipeline.
• Maintain accurate call notes and lead status in a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls, conversations, appointments, and revenue.
• Research target industries and companies to refine prospect lists.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
• 1‑3 years of experience in outbound sales, cold calling, telemarketing or business development.
• Willingness to work consistent US shift hours.
• Comfortable working remotely with a quiet workspace, reliable internet and a good headset.
• Excellent spoken and written English with a professional phone manner.
• Resilient, positive attitude toward rejection and self‑motivated.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
