Sales Development Representative – US Market (Hybrid)

About the role

Ambidex Inc., a US‑based Data & AI consulting firm, is looking for a Sales Development Representative to prospect US companies, engage decision‑makers and book qualified discovery meetings for the consulting team. You will be among the first to build the sales function, with real ownership and a clear path to an Account Executive role.

Key responsibilities

• Research US companies and identify key decision‑makers.
• Conduct outbound prospecting primarily via cold calling, as well as LinkedIn and email.
• Generate interest, qualify prospects, handle objections and book discovery meetings.
• Maintain outreach activity, follow‑ups and records in a CRM.
• Continuously refine outreach approach to meet activity and meeting‑booking targets.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in cold calling, outbound sales, SDR, lead generation or appointment setting.
• Strong, clear English communication, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable speaking with US business professionals over the phone.
• Hunter mindset with persistence, resilience and strong follow‑up skills.
• Self‑driven, organized, coachable and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Outbound prospecting tools: Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• CRM platforms: Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, Zoho or similar.
• Sales methodologies: BANT, SPIN Selling, MEDDICC or similar.
