Sales Executive – Healthcare Diagnostics

About the role

Siemens Healthineers is hiring a Sales Executive based in Karachi, Pakistan, to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve sales targets for its Healthcare business lines covering diagnostic imaging and advanced therapies such as CT scans, MRI, angiography, molecular imaging and IT products. The role covers inbound sales, proposal support and pre-tender work.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a business plan by cultivating a healthy sales pipeline, following up on leads and managing the existing customer base.
• Achieve the given sales targets for the designated work area.
• Handle inbound sales activities including calls, emails and offer compilation and preparation.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, prioritize activities and provide accurate forecasting with a focus on market and transparency.
• Work in a team on pre-tenders to prepare technically and financially viable solutions that increase market share.
• Interact with clinicians, industry leaders, consultants, regulatory bodies and local government entities.
• Support proposal preparation with the Quote desk and departments such as commercial, product management, customer service, supply chain and project management, and coordinate with them so proposals are finalized on time.
• Ensure timely feedback from cross-functional departments and keep funnel and win/loss data updated.
• Respond to proposals and RFQs with guidance from Product Management and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• BSc Engineering or MBA from a reputable university.
• At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with specific experience in high-tech medical equipment such as CT, MRI, cath lab and PET CT.
• Ability to be an active part of a sales team delivering sales targets and applying Siemens Healthineers' business strategies in the area of responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of the Punjab Hi-Tech market, both public and private sectors.
