About the role
GumCorp is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead its high‑performing team in a premium wood furniture showroom. You will drive sales growth, enhance the customer experience, and help shape the strategic direction of the interior solutions business.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed showroom revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor and motivate a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional service and meet individual goals.
- Oversee daily showroom operations, ensuring a visually appealing, well‑merchandised environment.
- Build strong client relationships and provide expert product and design consultation.
- Implement upselling and cross‑selling techniques to maximise customer value.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with design and production teams for seamless order fulfilment.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of progressive sales experience, with a significant focus on furniture or interior design sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- Proven track record in sales management and retail sales principles.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
