School Principal - Onsite, Karachi

About the role

A leading schooling system in Karachi is hiring an onsite School Principal. The role covers academic leadership, staff supervision, student welfare, parent relations and campus administration. Working days are Monday to Saturday with alternate Saturdays off.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the curriculum, academic calendar, assessment policies and teaching standards, and monitor lesson planning, classroom teaching and learning outcomes
• Conduct classroom observations, analyse exam results and arrange remedial support and enrichment
• Supervise coordinators, teachers and administrative staff, run performance appraisals and organise professional development
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and disciplined environment, enforce safeguarding and anti-bullying policies and monitor attendance and behaviour
• Oversee parent-teacher meetings, admissions, student retention and communication with parents
• Manage timetables, examinations, events, facilities, security and maintenance, and submit regular reports on academics, staffing, attendance and admissions

Required profile

• Master's degree in Education or a relevant subject; a recognised teaching qualification is preferred
• At least 7 years of relevant school experience, including 3 years in an academic leadership role
• Experience with the curriculum and examination boards of the assigned campus
• Strong English communication, team management, parent engagement and digital reporting skills
