Security Monitoring Specialist (Hybrid, Karachi)

About the role

Renegade Vigil is seeking a full‑time Security Monitoring Specialist to join its remote 24/7 operations team. Based in Karachi with hybrid flexibility, you will actively monitor client locations through our digital platform, perform scheduled checks, and produce accurate, timestamped reports.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor retail, warehouse, restaurant, and mall sites remotely using security monitoring software.
• Conduct three confirmed checks per hour, every hour, and document observations with precise timestamps.
• Respond to potential incidents by following established protocols, escalating concerns, and coordinating with emergency services when needed.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure seamless 24/7 coverage and support client onboarding processes.
• Maintain high standards of reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to structured workflows during assigned shifts.

• Strong system monitoring abilities for remote surveillance and incident detection.
• Analytical mindset to assess situations, identify patterns, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Clear communication skills for accurate reporting, escalation, and team coordination.
• Customer‑service orientation to support client needs professionally.
• Research capability to follow and refine protocols and stay informed about security best practices.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with consistent reliability.
• Comfort with digital tools, security monitoring software, and basic troubleshooting of system access issues.
• Previous experience in security operations, call centers, or monitoring environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security, IT, or related fields is a plus.
