Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Karachi. The role involves full‑cycle accounting for a fast‑moving online business, requiring strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all bookkeeping functions and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statement, cash flow, balance sheet) for management and stakeholders.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and monthly payroll.
• Reconcile bank and credit‑card accounts with zero tolerance for errors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve accounting workflows and internal controls.
• Liaise with tax consultants and external auditors to ensure compliance and smooth audit processes.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of bookkeeping experience.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on financial statement preparation.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or equivalent.
• Prior experience in the retail industry is a strong plus.
