Senior Accountant – P&L, Balance Sheet, Trading & Inventory Management

About the role

Salman Traders is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage the full spectrum of financial operations, including profit and loss reporting, balance‑sheet preparation, trade documentation and inventory control. The role is based in Lahore and offers the opportunity to work closely with the finance team, banks and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly Profit & Loss statements and annual Balance Sheets.
• Handle trading activities and complete Letter of Credit (LC) documentation.
• Manage inventory records, perform stock reconciliation and calculate inventory valuation.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor all banking transactions.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Generate sales tax invoices, file tax returns and keep sales‑tax records up to date.
• Create and process customer and vendor invoices.
• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Liaise with banks, suppliers and external auditors as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading company.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
