Senior Accountant – P&L, Balance Sheet & Trading

About the role

Salman Traders is looking for a Senior Accountant to lead its financial reporting, balance‑sheet preparation and trading documentation functions. The role combines core accounting duties with inventory control and tax compliance in a fast‑moving trading environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
• Handle trading operations and Letter of Credit (LC) documentation.
• Manage inventory records, perform stock reconciliation and valuation.
• Execute bank reconciliations and monitor banking transactions.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Generate sales tax invoices, maintain tax records and ensure compliance.
• Create and manage customer and vendor invoices.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading company.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate financial information clearly.
