Senior Accountant (UK Clients) – Lahore

About the role

Digiteam Solutions is looking for a Senior Accountant with at least 2.5 years of experience working with UK clients for a full-time, on-site position in its Johar Town office near Emporium Mall, Lahore. The firm's practice is client-based rather than department-based, with teams of 7-8 people covering bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, CIS, SATR, statutory accounts and Companies House updates. Seniors train the team and are expected to double-check their own work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, trial balances, VAT returns, reconciliations, tax calculations and returns, and other core accounting functions
• Track team and client KPIs and ensure high-quality accounting service to keep clients satisfied
• Train team members and improve processes to increase efficiency
• Once proven reliable, manage a team of 4-5 accountants and help them look after a dedicated client base
• Keep growing through continuous learning

Required profile

• Fully or partially qualified (UK) ACCA
• At least 2 years of experience with UK clients
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Ability to work on-site, 11 am to 9 pm

Required skills

• Good proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Docs
• Experience using diverse accounting software
