Senior AI Engineer – Agentic AI

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer specialized in Agentic AI to design, develop, and deploy real‑time AI agents that automate business workflows. The role combines autonomous agent development, workflow orchestration with n8n, and integration of large language models into production‑ready applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and launch real‑time AI agents capable of reasoning, decision‑making, tool calling and autonomous task execution.
• Build and manage automated workflows using n8n, integrating AI agents with APIs, databases and third‑party business applications.
• Integrate LLMs such as OpenAI and Anthropic Claude into agentic workflows and automation pipelines.
• Develop custom workflow logic in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript when standard n8n nodes are insufficient.
• Implement API integrations, structured outputs, error handling, retries and fallback mechanisms.
• Create single‑agent and multi‑agent workflows using frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain or equivalent.
• Implement RAG, vector databases and contextual memory where required.
• Monitor, test and optimise agent performance, workflow reliability, execution speed and API costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of relevant software development, AI engineering or automation experience, with at least 3 years focused on Agentic AI.
• Demonstrable experience building n8n workflows and integrating LLM‑powered agents with real‑world applications.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Agentic AI and real‑time AI agent development.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Practical experience with n8n workflow automation (triggers, webhooks, API integrations).
• Experience integrating LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude or similar models.
• Familiarity with frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI or equivalent.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication and third‑party integrations.
• Understanding of asynchronous processing, event‑driven architecture and real‑time communication.
• Experience with databases, vector stores and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
