Senior Application Architect – Digital Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Application Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure solutions as part of an ambitious digital transformation program for one of the largest diversified family business groups in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee the architecture of applications to ensure scalability, security, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Collaborate with IT, business units, and external partners to integrate architectural solutions across the organization.
• Define and maintain an architecture roadmap that supports the long‑term vision of the company.
• Establish technical standards and best practices for all application development projects.
• Identify and introduce new technologies and methodologies to improve performance, security, and user experience.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Oversee integration and deployment processes, coordinating with DevOps teams to automate releases.
• Document architectural decisions, designs, and processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in application architecture and large‑scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and enterprise‑level solution design.
• Ability to work hands‑on within delivery teams while maintaining a strategic perspective.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross‑functional stakeholders.
