Senior Business Analyst – Core Banking (AVP)

About the role

The National Bank of Pakistan seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst (Assistant Vice President) to lead core banking initiatives. The role involves translating business needs into IT solutions, overseeing system upgrades, and ensuring alignment with banking operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define system scope and objectives for core banking applications through research and industry analysis.
• Document business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and manage change requests.
• Develop test plans, execute system, integration, and acceptance testing, and verify that changes meet client needs without adverse impacts.
• Analyze and re‑engineer business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• At least 6 years of IT experience, including 3 years in business analysis within banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of Core Banking Solutions and ADC Channels.
• Experience with Enterprise Applications.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
