Senior Consultant – Strategic Planning & Risk Management (Remote)

About the role

Weckenhut Risk Consulting Pakistan is seeking a Senior Consultant to provide expert strategic planning and risk management advice to corporate clients. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering high‑impact insights that support client objectives while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organisational goals and client needs.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and deliver actionable mitigation recommendations.
• Manage background‑check processes to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Advise on compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks relevant to the Pakistani market.
• Analyse socio‑cultural and business trends in Pakistan to inform strategic initiatives.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive client information.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate consultancy insights into practical solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations communicating findings and recommendations.
• Stay updated on regulatory, compliance, and socio‑political developments affecting the consulting environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of consultancy methodologies and best practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry experts.

Required profile

• Minimum ten years of experience in strategic planning, risk management, or related consulting fields.
• Ability to work independently without managing a team.
• Native‑level proficiency in Urdu and fluent English; additional languages (Pushto, Punjabi, Sindhi) are a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Pakistani regulatory environments and experience handling background‑check processes.
• Proven experience in third‑party due diligence, market‑entry risk assessments, and discreet field research.
• Exceptional discretion, integrity, and a track record of maintaining strict client confidentiality.
• Thorough understanding of Pakistan’s social, cultural, and business contexts.
