Senior Database Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Database Developer to design, implement and maintain high‑performance database solutions on Oracle Exadata and cloud platforms. The role involves close collaboration with application and business teams to deliver scalable, secure data services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement complex database models, tables, indexes, partitions, materialized views and other objects in Oracle Exadata.
• Analyse execution plans and optimise SQL performance through query tuning, indexing and partitioning.
• Develop and manage ETL, data migration, validation, cleansing and integration processes using Oracle, MySQL and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Design and support NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Redis) including data modelling, indexing and replication.
• Support cloud and hybrid‑cloud environments on OCI, AWS, Azure or GCP, including migration, backup, disaster recovery and high‑availability.
• Create and optimise dashboards and analytical queries using Power BI and Tableau.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Database, Exadata and SQL/PLSQL development.
• Proven experience with at least one NoSQL technology and cloud platforms.
