Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Dubizzle Labs you will be responsible for ensuring the health, scalability and reliability of our production services. You will work closely with development teams from design through production, driving automation and performance improvements across a large‑scale environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall health, performance, efficiency and capacity of the production environment.
• Design and implement automated, maintainable systems for large‑scale operations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Provide operational support to development teams and act as a stakeholder for production issues.
• Create and manage production‑like environments for development and testing.
• Develop monitoring tools for custom applications and troubleshoot hardware, software, application and network issues.
• Migrate legacy applications to modern platforms with minimal downtime.
• Participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation and document system designs and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting high‑volume, customer‑facing services.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Proven experience running infrastructure at scale with Kubernetes.
• Experience migrating workloads to AWS EKS or similar container platforms.

Required skills

• AWS and AWS Solutions Architect concepts.
• CI/CD tools – GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Programming languages – Go, Ruby, Python, Bash.
• Container orchestration – Kubernetes, AWS EKS.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting across full stack.
