Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

EdgeEdge is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of its AWS cloud environment. You will partner with software, security and product teams to build scalable, secure and highly‑available infrastructure that powers internal systems and customer‑facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain secure, scalable and highly available AWS infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, IAM and security configurations.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation and automate provisioning and configuration management.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, support automated testing and streamline release processes.
• Develop monitoring, logging and alerting solutions, manage observability and respond to incidents.
• Enforce cloud security best practices, manage secrets, encryption and compliance controls.
• Create backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve architecture, document standards and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• 4–5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services and cloud security.
• Proven ability to design and operate highly available systems at scale.
• Experience working closely with software development and security teams.
