Senior ERP Functional Expert

About the role

Careem is seeking a senior individual contributor who will serve as the functional expert for Oracle ERP across Finance and Supply Chain. The role involves hands‑on system design, configuration, production issue resolution and translating business needs into stable, scalable processes while collaborating with stakeholders in the UAE and other markets.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert for General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Chain, configuring and optimizing related processes.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, lead root‑cause analysis, and support major incident bridges.
• Own quarterly release testing, regression, change readiness and data migration activities.
• Collaborate with integration teams on ERP connections (OIC, REST/SOAP) and partner with vendors and system integrators.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of hands‑on ERP implementation and support experience with deep functional expertise in Finance and Supply Chain.
• Proven record as a senior individual contributor on large multi‑module programs, including integrations and data migration.
• Strong grounding in ITIL‑style incident, problem and change management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.

• Oracle Procurement and Supply Chain (procure‑to‑pay, purchasing, supplier management)
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST and SOAP APIs
• OTBI and BI Publisher for reporting
