Senior Finance Manager

About the role

The senior finance manager will lead the accounting function for a leading textile exporter in Pakistan. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, the ability to manage daily finance operations, and to provide strategic financial insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and execute month‑end closing activities.
• Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables and other financial records.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and review tax documentation and ensure statutory compliance.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Analyze financial data, highlight discrepancies and assess risks.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work.
• Prepare management reports and provide financial insights for decision‑making.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or CMA (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
