Senior GCP Data & AI Engineer (Remote, Lahore)

About the role

We are seeking a senior engineer with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform, data engineering, and generative AI to lead complex data and AI initiatives for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Connect, integrate, and model client data across multiple clouds using BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage.
• Design scalable data models, schemas and implement role‑based access control for secure data access.
• Develop Gemini Enterprise capabilities such as conversational analytics, grounded search, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation and AI agents.
• Integrate monday.com Gemini Enterprise agent and enable multi‑source data connectivity.
• Build AI‑powered self‑service analytics solutions for non‑technical users using the Model Context Protocol.
• Maintain governed analytics solutions with Looker and LookML, ensuring reliability and consistency.
• Establish standardized, observable, multi‑tenant architectures for managed services.
• Lead technical implementations, review solutions, mentor team members and ensure high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience leading data engineering, data architecture and AI solution development.
• Commercial experience with GCP, especially BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, schema design, data warehousing, lakehousing and RBAC.
• Relevant GCP certification(s) and hands‑on experience with Gemini Enterprise and generative AI.
• Proven technical leadership, independent problem‑solving and delivery management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
