Senior General Counsel – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior General Counsel to join a fast‑growing AI‑driven technology platform. The role is fully remote and involves providing strategic legal guidance across corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance for a global gig‑economy workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts for technology partnerships, vendor agreements and client engagements.
• Advise senior leadership on legal risks, compliance obligations and strategic decisions related to AI‑powered operations.
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution, coordinating with external counsel when required.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), intellectual property rights and employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop and implement policies that mitigate legal exposure in a rapidly evolving gig‑economy landscape.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney with at least 7 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within technology or platform‑based businesses.
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, commercial law and regulatory compliance for digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations and emerging AI‑specific legal frameworks.
• Experience handling cross‑border legal matters and advising on global workforce policies.
