Senior Human Resources Specialist – HR Operations

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Specialist will lead day‑to‑day HR operations for Truckoom’s offices in Islamabad, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior management, you will act as the primary point of contact for employees on all HR matters, ensuring accurate records, compliance and smooth onboarding and off‑boarding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee files, contracts, handbooks and policy manuals, including renewals and amendments.
• Track and renew visas, work permits and labor cards for UAE‑based staff.
• Monitor daily attendance, manage leave requests, balances and encashments, and coordinate public holiday calendars across locations.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee queries, grievance intake, documentation and resolution, and support disciplinary actions.
• Draft, update and circulate HR policies, SOPs and all HR correspondence such as offer, confirmation, warning and experience letters.
• Maintain compliance calendars for contract renewals, probation reviews and visa/permit expirations; coordinate internal and external audits.
• Oversee onboarding activities – documentation, orientation, ERP setup and induction scheduling – and manage probation tracking and confirmation.
• Handle full exit processes including clearance, final settlement calculations, asset return and exit documentation.
• Provide accurate inputs for team‑level MIS reporting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in HR operations or generalist HR roles.
• Strong working knowledge of labor law and HR compliance practices.
• Proven ability to manage employee records, attendance and documentation independently.
• High level of discretion handling confidential employee information.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP/HRIS systems; familiarity with Frappe/ERPNext is a plus.
