Senior Java Developer – Backend & Frontend Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to lead the design, development and deployment of scalable, secure enterprise applications. The role combines backend micro‑service development with frontend UI work, ensuring end‑to‑end delivery of high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high‑throughput Java micro‑services and REST/SOAP APIs using Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive user interfaces with React, Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Architect and optimise relational database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and handle JSON/XML serialization.
• Apply clean architecture, design patterns and implement encryption (AES, RSA, TLS) for secure communications.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and oversee zero‑downtime deployments.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps teams and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 11+ and Spring ecosystem (Boot, Data, Security, Cloud).
• At least 3 years of hands‑on frontend development with React, Angular or similar.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
