Senior Logistics Specialist – International Imports

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to oversee end‑to‑end international logistics operations for U.S. import shipments from our Karachi hub. The role involves coordinating ocean freight, drayage, road transport, customs clearance and all related documentation to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean freight, drayage, FTL/LTL road freight and customs clearance for U.S. imports.
• Track shipments proactively, resolve delays and documentation discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, packing lists and HS codes.
• Collaborate with procurement, production and operations teams to align delivery timelines.
• Review freight costs and recommend cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Prepare shipment status updates and logistics performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of logistics or supply‑chain coordination experience, preferably with U.S. imports.
• Strong knowledge of freight terms, customs procedures and international shipping documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems.
