Senior Manager – Accounts (Finance)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Accounts to lead financial planning, reporting, and P&L management for our fleet operations. This role will drive profitability, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive P&L management and financial planning across the fleet vertical, including modelling, budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow, revenue and receivables management, profitability tracking, working‑capital management and risk identification.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate financial performance into actionable insights, challenge variances, and suggest data‑backed improvements for fleet profitability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax and regulatory requirements, banking covenants and internal financial controls.
• Lead, develop and strengthen the finance function supporting the fleet business, establishing robust processes, controls and reporting standards.
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions for vehicle financing, leasing facilities, renewals, funding requirements and banking compliance.
• Establish and monitor fleet unit economics metrics such as revenue per vehicle, cost per vehicle, utilization and contribution margin to identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Identify and proactively manage financial, liquidity, credit and operational risks within the fleet business.

Required profile

• CA / ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• 6+ years of experience in accounting/finance roles, preferably with experience managing financial institutions and exposure to fleet or logistics.
• Strong hands‑on experience in financial modelling and P&L management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under stringent deadlines.
• Flexible attitude, willing to adapt to changing demands.
