Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs and Transactions

About the role

The Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs and Transactions leads the bank's financing, security, M&A and corporate transaction work. This senior legal professional drafts, structures and negotiates complex documentation, advises business units and provides legal opinions on new commercial arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate financing and security documentation, facility agreements, guarantees and pledges, engaging directly with counterparties to resolve issues.
• Lead the legal work‑stream on M&A and structured transactions, including document review, due diligence and coordination with external counsel.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract implications, strategic initiatives, investments and new business lines.
• Provide legal opinions and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Identify when specialist or external legal support is required and manage associated costs.
• Review and mentor junior counsel, supporting their professional development.
• Support training of business teams on legal developments, contract management and legal policies.

Required profile

• Bar‑at‑Law, LL.M. or LL.B. from a recognized institution.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in corporate and commercial law, financing, security documentation, M&A and contract review, preferably within a bank, financial institution, corporate legal team or law firm.
• Proven track record of handling complex, high‑value transactions independently and leading negotiations.
