Senior Manager – Demand Planning & Customer Service

About the role

National Foods Limited is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Demand Planning and Customer Service across its local and international divisions. The role is central to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring accurate forecasts, optimal inventory, and high service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical models.
• Own the monthly S&OP cycle, including Forecast Reviews, Corporate Demand Review, and S&OP meetings.
• Participate in Activity Planning, Demand Supply Review, and SLOBs meetings, providing timely demand insights.
• Balance inventory levels, lead times, and resolve past‑due receipts at all warehouse levels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to embed business intelligence into forecasts.
• Integrate long‑term factors such as new product launches, seasonality, and promotions.
• Monitor KPIs like forecast accuracy, bias, and demand variability to drive OTIF performance.
• Utilize and enhance SAP APO/IBP tools for improved forecasting.
• Develop “what‑if” scenarios to mitigate stock‑out risks.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of supply‑chain variances and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate master‑data accuracy with the ABAP team and maintain SAP reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand planning and S&OP leadership.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on KPI‑driven performance.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and supply‑chain teams.
• Senior‑level managerial experience.
