Senior Manager, Record-to-Report (R2R)

About the role

The Senior Manager, Record-to-Report (R2R) leads the R2R process tower within Zones' Global Business Services Centre. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end financial integrity, period‑end close, and the production of accurate, timely financial information for the Pakistan execution layer.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close calendar, ensuring tasks meet timetables, quality standards and SLAs.
• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts integrity, including journal entry preparation, review and approval within delegated authority.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, transaction processing, matching, settlement and elimination support across legal entities.
• Manage fixed‑asset, lease accounting, accruals, pre‑payments and provisions in line with group policy.
• Coordinate cash and bank reconciliations in partnership with Treasury, O2C and P2P towers.
• Own the balance‑sheet reconciliation framework, ensuring timely reconciliations, resolution of ageing items and appropriate risk escalation.
• Support the production of management and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in Record‑to‑Report or broader finance functions.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, intercompany, fixed‑asset and balance‑sheet processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a finance team in a multi‑layered, confidential operating model.
• Experience embedding global finance processes and driving continuous improvement.
