Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

INTECH Automation Intelligence is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Wellhead and Skids Solutions team. The role supports modular skid packages, wellhead control panels, and pressure regulation systems for oil and gas operations, ensuring safe and efficient performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop FEED and detailed designs for brownfield and greenfield oil & gas projects.
• Conduct piping stress analysis and produce flexibility, stress, nozzle load, and pipe support load reports.
• Oversee material selection for piping, structures, valves, and buildings.
• Design static and rotary equipment such as pressure vessels, shell‑tube heat exchangers, storage tanks, pumps, and compressors.
• Perform design reviews for skids, including stress and structural analysis.
• Manage technical bid evaluations, proposals, tenders, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate vendor and subcontractor activities, handle change orders, and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
• Support integration and commissioning of mechanical equipment, especially skids.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of hands‑on experience with piping stress analysis and design of static and rotary equipment.
• Experience in oil & gas projects, preferably with Gulf exposure.
• Proven ability to manage procurement, cost control, and vendor relationships.
• Experience in integration and commissioning of mechanical skids is preferred.
