Senior Mechanical Engineer – SolidWorks & Product Design

About the role

Red Shadow Designs is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its in‑house team at the PWD office in Rawalpindi. You will lead the creation of high‑precision, production‑ready mechanical models using SolidWorks, ensuring they meet strict accuracy and manufacturability standards for global B2B clients.

Key responsibilities

• Execute advanced surfacing techniques in SolidWorks to develop complex, aesthetic, and ergonomic product geometries.
• Build robust, organized parametric feature trees that adapt to client revisions and scaling requirements.
• Apply GD&T principles to guarantee precise tolerances, clearances, and seamless manufacturing handoffs.
• Collaborate with rendering and visual teams to translate mechanical models into high‑end presentation assets.
• Review models for structural integrity, draft angles, and wall thicknesses, maintaining studio technical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or industrial design.
• Expert‑level proficiency in SolidWorks; CSWP or CSWE certification is a strong plus.
• Strong attention to detail regarding tolerances and real‑world manufacturing constraints (injection molding, CNC machining, sheet metal).
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site at the Rawalpindi office.
