Senior Mobile & Platform Engineer – iOS/Android, KMP & DevOps

About the role

We are building a location‑aware mobile app that blends real‑world interactions with AI‑assisted development. As a Senior Mobile & Platform Engineer you will bridge mobile, backend, database and infrastructure to create a reliable delivery pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Support Android and iOS developers with technical decisions, debugging, code reviews and integration challenges.
• Develop and maintain shared application logic using Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Maintain architecture across mobile apps, backend services, APIs and databases.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and manage self‑hosted GitHub runners.
• Develop backend functionality, manage database migrations, backups and recovery.
• Establish AI‑assisted coding workflows, review AI‑generated code and mentor developers in using AI tools.
• Optionally act as technical team lead, coordinating dependencies and guiding implementation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in mobile software development with strong Kotlin/Android and Swift/iOS skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and integrating shared code.
• Solid backend development background, API design, authentication and security knowledge.
• Proficient in SQL, relational databases, schema migrations and performance troubleshooting.
• DevOps experience on Linux servers, application deployment and operational troubleshooting.
• Extensive use of GitHub, GitHub Actions and runner management.
• Practical experience with AI coding assistants and agentic development workflows.
