Senior .NET Engineer – Audio/Video (Azure Communication Services)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to lead the design and delivery of real‑time audio and video communication solutions. The role is fully remote and will focus on building scalable backend services using .NET Core and Azure Communication Services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain high‑quality .NET applications and backend services.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs that integrate with Azure Communication Services for audio/video calling.
• Develop real‑time communication features using WebRTC, WebSockets, signaling and media stream handling.
• Troubleshoot and optimise call quality, latency, connectivity and device compatibility issues.
• Collaborate with product, QA and other engineering teams to define technical solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers and enforce coding standards.
• Monitor performance, scalability and reliability of communication services in production.

Required profile

• Fluent English with a B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and delivering production‑grade .NET solutions.
