Senior Network Security Engineer / Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Network Security Engineer will design, implement and protect enterprise network infrastructures for a range of clients. The role focuses on deploying advanced security platforms such as Fortinet, Juniper and Cisco Firepower to deliver resilient, scalable and compliant environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement secure network architectures using Fortinet, Juniper SRX and Cisco Firepower solutions.
• Create High‑Level and Low‑Level Designs (HLD/LLD) with strong security components.
• Configure, deploy and manage firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, web filtering, and Zero Trust segmentation.
• Handle security incidents, firewall policy issues, VPN failures and performance degradations.
• Open and manage support cases with Fortinet TAC, Cisco TAC and Juniper JTAC.
• Perform firewall policy reviews, rule optimization and security hardening.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, SOC, penetration testing and IT teams during assessments and incident response.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Fortinet, Juniper SRX and Cisco Firepower (FTD & FMC).
• Solid knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP).
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, IDS/IPS and other security monitoring tools.
• Proven ability to analyze logs, alerts and network events for threat detection.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
