Senior Network Security Engineer / Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Network Security Engineer will design, implement and secure enterprise network infrastructures for a range of clients. The role focuses on deploying advanced security platforms such as Fortinet, Juniper and Cisco Firepower to create resilient, scalable environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network architectures integrating Fortinet, Juniper and Cisco Firepower solutions.
• Develop high‑level and low‑level designs with strong security components.
• Configure, deploy and manage firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, web filtering and Zero Trust segmentation.
• Handle security incidents, troubleshoot firewall policies, VPN failures and performance issues.
• Open and manage support cases with Fortinet, Cisco and Juniper TAC teams.
• Perform firewall policy reviews, rule optimization and security hardening.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, SOC and penetration testing teams.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Fortinet, Juniper SRX and Cisco Firepower platforms.
• Solid knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP).
• Experience with security monitoring tools such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, IDS/IPS.
• Ability to analyze logs, alerts and network events for threat detection.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
