Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead the sourcing of critical raw materials and indirect items for our manufacturing operations. The role ensures timely, cost-effective procurement from both local and international suppliers while maintaining high quality and delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs/RFPs, evaluate quotations and recommend suppliers based on quality, cost and delivery.
• Negotiate commercial terms and develop cost-saving strategies for materials such as copper, core, transformer oil, tanks, radiators and other indirect supplies.
• Coordinate with planning, production, engineering, quality and project teams to guarantee uninterrupted material availability.
• Monitor commodity market trends, supplier performance and manage onboarding and performance evaluations.
• Lead supplier review meetings and ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement and value-engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing, electrical, transformer or heavy-engineering environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, mechanical/industrial engineering, business administration or a related field.

Required skills

• Strategic sourcing and procurement processes.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with Oracle ERP (preferred).
