Senior Software Engineer - Data Engineering & AI

About the role

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer who specializes in Data Engineering and AI. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines while developing machine‑learning models that drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
• Build and optimise data architectures, warehouses, and large‑scale processing systems.
• Develop, train, evaluate, and deploy ML/AI models in production.
• Implement MLOps practices, including model monitoring, CI/CD and automation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven and AI‑powered solutions.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance and performance across all systems.
• Troubleshoot issues in data pipelines, infrastructure, and AI models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, IT or a related field.
• 2‑6 years of professional experience in data engineering, AI/ML engineering or related roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Python and SQL
• Relational and non‑relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• ETL/ELT pipeline development
• Data orchestration tools (Apache Airflow or similar)
• Big‑data technologies (Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop)
• Machine‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑Learn)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git version control
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG frameworks or NLP (plus)
