Senior SQA Automation Engineer

About the role

CodeNinja Consulting is seeking a Senior SQA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for complex enterprise systems across banking, fintech, and other domains. The role works closely with manual testing leads, developers, and DevOps to ensure high test coverage and stable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for regression, functional, and system integration testing, creating reusable frameworks and libraries.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines) and configure triggers for nightly builds and releases.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of UI, API, SIT, and end‑to‑end scenarios, produce detailed test reports and participate in defect triage.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps to prepare test environments and mentor junior team members on best practices.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit.
• Proficiency in API automation tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or Karate.
• Expertise in at least two programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD workflows and using Git‑based version control.
