Senior Tableau Expert - BI Dashboard Developer

About the role

An experienced Data Analyst with strong hands-on Tableau expertise is sought to build, improve and optimise enterprise-level dashboards, reports and business intelligence solutions. The role focuses on modernising existing reporting, rebuilding and optimising Tableau dashboards, supporting the move from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud, and developing reporting in Power BI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and optimise interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau
• Analyse existing dashboards, reports and data sources to understand business requirements and reporting logic
• Rebuild, enhance and migrate Tableau dashboards as part of the BI modernisation initiative
• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, visualisations and analytical solutions
• Support migration of Tableau Server dashboards to Tableau Cloud
• Connect Power BI and Tableau to SQL Server and Microsoft Fabric data sources
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries, and configure Tableau data sources, extracts, calculated fields, filters and parameters
• Build Power BI data models, DAX measures and calculated columns
• Perform data analysis, validation and reconciliation, and identify trends and insights
• Troubleshoot dashboard performance, connectivity issues and refresh failures
• Work with business stakeholders and technical teams, and maintain documentation of dashboards, reports and data sources

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics or a related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or BI development
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Tableau dashboard development
• Demonstrated experience building complex enterprise-level dashboards
• Experience with Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud migration is highly desirable
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
