Senior Tax Accountant – US Clients (Onsite, Lahore)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our Lahore office and serve U.S.-based clients. The role operates on a night shift aligned with U.S. business hours, handling the full accounting cycle and ensuring audit‑ready financials under U.S. standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting for U.S. clients, including monthly closings and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze profit & loss statements and comprehensive financial reports.
• Process W‑2 and 1099 forms in compliance with U.S. payroll and contractor regulations.
• Prepare and file U.S. tax returns: Individual (Form 1040), C‑Corp (Form 1120), S‑Corp (Form 1120S), Partnership (Form 1065), Sales Tax, and Franchise Tax.
• Ensure adherence to federal and state tax filing deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate books using QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Communicate professionally with U.S. clients and stay updated on changes in U.S. tax law and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience preparing and filing U.S. tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, sales and franchise taxes.
• Proven track record serving U.S. clients.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to work night shift (U.S. business hours) in an onsite environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks (Online & Desktop).
• Expertise in W‑2 and 1099 reporting.
• In‑depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax regulations.
• Experience preparing Form 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, Sales Tax and Franchise Tax returns.
• Ability to produce profit & loss statements, perform monthly closings, and reconcile accounts.
