SEO and Social Media Manager

About the role

NodeGuard is a modern infrastructure platform offering secure, high-performance VPS, VPN and cloud hosting solutions for developers, startups and businesses. It is hiring a full-time SEO and Social Media Manager, who can work on-site or fully remotely. The person in this role plans and runs SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, optimises website content and monitors performance with analytics tools, while managing social media channels, building content calendars and keeping brand messaging consistent.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute SEO strategies, optimise website content and track performance with analytics tools
• Manage social media channels, create and adapt posts for multiple platforms and maintain consistent brand messaging
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams, conduct keyword and audience research and track campaign metrics
• Refine strategies based on data-driven insights and stay up to date with SEO, SMO and social media best practices

Required profile

• 3+ years in SEO/content marketing with measurable ranking and link-building results
• Real exposure to the web hosting industry, Linux servers, WordPress, DNS and control panels
• Strong written English, able to write technical posts engineers will understand
• Comfortable owning strategy and execution alone, reporting directly to the founder
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Required skills

• SEO principles, keyword research, on-page optimisation and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console
• Social media marketing and social media optimisation (SMO)
• Content strategy and communication and writing
• Familiarity with hosting, cloud or developer-focused products is an advantage
