SharePoint Architect – Migration to Microsoft 365

About the role

Systems Limited is seeking a SharePoint Architect to lead a SharePoint modernization initiative, migrating legacy SharePoint 2010 and 2013 environments to SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365). The role focuses on designing migration strategies, improving user experience, and ensuring governance and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current SharePoint 2010/2013 site collections, customizations, workflows, and integrations.
• Design and execute a migration plan to SharePoint Online using tools such as ShareGate, Metalogix, or Microsoft Migration Tool.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define content architecture and align it with business objectives.
• Modernize legacy sites by applying modern templates, web parts, and Microsoft 365 features.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the migration.
• Provide training, documentation, and post‑migration support to end‑users and administrators.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and address performance concerns after go‑live.
• Integrate SharePoint Online with Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform services.

Required profile

• Proven experience with SharePoint 2010, 2013 and SharePoint Online.
• Hands‑on use of migration tools (ShareGate, Metalogix, Microsoft Migration Tool).
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, governance and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in fast‑paced, collaborative environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
