Shariah Audit Officer

About the role

Bank of Khyber is hiring Officers for its Shariah Audit Department in Peshawar. The officer conducts Shariah audits of branches, departments and banking operations to check compliance with Shariah principles, regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Shariah audits of branches, departments and banking operations to assess compliance with Shariah principles, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare audit reports highlighting observations, root causes and practical recommendations for corrective action and process improvement.

Required profile

• Graduation, CA-Inter, CA-Finalist, ICMA or ACCA (qualified).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Banking or another relevant field from an HEC-recognized university or a reputable foreign university is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in Islamic banking or Islamic financial institutions; preference goes to candidates with Shariah audit, Shariah compliance or advances experience in a bank.
