Site Reliability Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Qureos Inc is looking for a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers our applications. You will work remotely with development, QA, and IT teams to automate operations, monitor performance, and ensure high‑availability deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines on GitHub and Google Cloud Run.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Administer and optimize MongoDB instances, including backup and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform or Ansible.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to support the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE).
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Monitoring and logging tools (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, New Relic).
• MongoDB administration and optimization.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
